Max Davis-Housefield is a Video Senior Staffer for The Daily Bruin. He is also a third-year Public Affairs and Economics student at UCLA, currently studying abroad at Sciences Po Paris.
He is open to freelance journalism work in Paris and Europe through summer 2026 and in the Southern California region from fall 2026 onwards.
Max previously served as the Assistant Video Producer for The Daily Bruin from 2024-25, where he created the broadcast news show, “On The Steps.” He was also the creator and producer of Davis Senior High School’s broadcast news show, “The Brakedown,” and a co-producer of “The News Cycle” podcast. Both of these programs were produced by The BlueDevilHUB, Davis High’s award winning student newspaper.
Max is also a writer and director, best known for the short film “Correspondence Chess” produced by the Film and Photography Society at UCLA.
